One buyer, licensed here, named before you commit
Most companies that answer the phone when you search for a wrecked car buyer will not tell you who ends up with the car. We will, before you agree to anything.
The national quote sites run an auction in the background. You submit your vehicle, they broker it to whichever local yard bids highest that week, and a truck arrives from a company whose name you have never heard. The number you were quoted was never a commitment, because the company that quoted you had no vehicle, no truck and no money in the transaction.
Arizona Wrecked Cars is the other model. This is TrackWala's site for the Arizona market, and TrackWala is the buyer. The offer comes from TrackWala, the truck is dispatched by TrackWala, and TrackWala hands you the payment.
Who we actually are
The company behind this site, and the company that purchases your vehicle, is Blue Ribbon Auto Sales LLC, a licensed Arizona dealer trading as TrackWala, with an office at 2627 W Birchwood Cir, Ste 1, Mesa, AZ 85202.
That matters more here than it would in most states. We are not an out-of-state call centre routing Arizona leads somewhere else. The licence is Arizona, the office is in Mesa, and the trucks are in the Valley.
The company was built on more than thirty years in the vehicle business, including executive roles at national automotive companies on the wholesale and remarketing side. When you have spent decades watching what damaged vehicles actually transact for, it becomes obvious how much value ordinary sellers give away when their only two options are a body shop estimate and a scrap quote.
Why we focus on wrecked and totaled cars
Almost every buyer in this category optimizes for the same vehicle: an old, high-mileage car worth roughly its weight in metal. That is a real business, and for a 2003 sedan with 240,000 miles the scrap number is close to the right number.
It is the wrong number for a three-year-old vehicle with front-end damage. A late-model car declared a total loss still contains a drivetrain, a body, electronics and a set of components with real market value. Scrap-weight pricing ignores all of it.
What the gap looks like in practice
On a 2016 Hyundai Sonata the scrap quote was $475. We paid $1,350. On a 2020 Toyota Highlander XLE that the owner had been told was finished, we paid $12,500.
We built the company around that gap because nobody else was competing for it. Here is where the cars actually end up, which is the part that sets what any buyer can afford to pay you.
What we will not do
- We will not quote a number and revise it when the driver arrives.
- We will not sell or rent your contact information, and we will not auction your vehicle to a pool of third-party bidders. Your details go to TrackWala, the company buying the car, and nowhere else.
- We will not let you find out about the notarized signature on pickup day.
- We will not tell you your car is worthless to make an easy purchase. If a scrap yard is genuinely your best outcome on a given vehicle, we will say so.
